The Departed !!!

If two is company then it’s said that three is crowd, and if the crowd is a group of my friends then i always make a point to be a part of it. Pritam was in Pune so it was an oppurtunity to meet Tilu and Sudesh and hang out for some time. Yeah, of late i meet Tilu and Sudesh only if Pritam is in Pune . So we decided to meet in ABC farms and go to Sheesha cafe to be surrounded and lost in some beautiful Jazz music. Sheesha cafe, i love the ambience out there and the Jazz music too. So left office early and me along with Pritam headed to ABC farms , Tilu was already there before us, Sudesh got stuck in some work and was supposed to come a bit late. We were lying on a cot and enjoying the ambience and thinking of the good old days until it was time for Sheesha to call it a day. We then planned to visit Tilus place and come back home.
But on the way was Yves' house, so it wouldn’t be nice to pass by his house without saying a Hi to him. I swear, we just wanted to say a Hi , we didn’t plan to go there just to irritate him. I'm still confused, i don’t know how to introduce him. Yves is my senior who stays in Pune , or is it Yves is my senior who hides in Pune. He was one of the biggest critic for whatever we did in the university, but we enjoyed it, his criticism always helped us to improve and to better. There is one and only one thing that’s common in us, both die hard fans of Arsenal. Gunners for Life. I gave him a call to tell him that we are outside his house. Luckily he believed instantly (i really get surprised when people like Yves instantly believe in what i say) and came to meet us down and took us to his house. "Welcome to my den" these were his words as we stepped in his house, i wanted to tell him that a chicken doesn’t stay in a den, but you see, we didn’t go there to irritate him. As we entered, his bright red Arsenal jersey was flashing bright in the hall. Yeah its Arsenals home jersey, but i have their away jersey which looks better and i got it for a lesser price as well. And yes, Arsenal were playing that night (they defeated Porto 4-0 that night). We had a chat for some time and then we left from there. I told Yves to come to meet some time but his scared to move out as his bike is Goa registered ( Heyyy, thats another thing we have in common, Goa registered bikes in Pune, but Yves is more scared of the cops than me to move around :P ).
We left Yves' house and went right to Agha khans palace, that’s where Tilu stays. Obviously, not in the palace but opposite to it. From there we headed straight home. The road was empty and tempting to zoom. We reacehd home in 10 minutes time i guess. Checked out Arsenals match then and finally off to bed.
Pritam was supposed to leave for B'lore next day. Although he was not sure about it but was almost certain. His train was to leave Pune at 11:30 in the evening. Now that means another oppurtunity to meet and enjoy before he leaves Pune. This time we met in Not Just Jazz by the bay. All four of us , Sudesh the fourth one. Not just Jazz by the Bay: the service is really pathetic here, but still u can stay there till the locals start singing Karaoke, then be quick to leave, its unbearable. It was 10 at night and still over 90 minutes for Pritam to leave Pune. We entered E-Square next. Pritam had a good time here as the securities checked his bag in and out. When they said they wanted to check his bag, Pritam told them that his going back, no checking my bag. Now that did sound a bit suspicious, so the security guys didn’t allow him to go and checked his bag by removing everything out of it.Now since his bag is checked we entered e-Square and sat there for some time.
That’s when i got a call from Siddharth, he wanted to know what time he should come to the station in B'lore to collect Pritam. Pritam was supposed to reach B'lore within 8 hours. Really, modern day transport system is very quick. I couldn’t believe Pune to B'lore in 8 hours time, but Pritam said its must be a super fast train. So he spoke to Sid and gave him all the details of his arrival in B'lore. Now its was just a matter of few minutes before his train to B'lore and we were planning to leave E-Square and move to station. Just then Siddharth called again, only to inform Pritam that there is no train from Pune to B'lore, leaving Pune at 11:45 pm.(hmmmmm.....) This was followed by a few minutes of confusion and discussion and then the Fact, yeahhh there is not train from Pune to B'lore at 11:45 pm, but it is at 11:45 am. This means Pritam is supposed to go B'lore carrying a big bag, which was checked inside out by the securities, by THE DEPARTED TRAIN (ha ha ha, all of you are supposed to compulsorily laugh for at least two minutes now, no prize for guessing whom we are laughing at ).
We couldnt stop laughing when we came to know about this, three of us laughing our hearts out (which three ?? you guess) and the fourth one (who fourth ??) trying to tightly press his lower jaw against his upper jaw and fire bad words to us. Can you imagine, we going to the station and then coming to know about the departed train, or imagine worse, we dropping Pritam near the station gate and moving back home, or imagine the worst, we going right home from e-Square and Pritam going to the station by a rick. What would he have done then ???? SMS your answer to 9764449198. The best answer gets a surprise gift.
But good that Siddharth enquired about the train and informed us about this, Siddharth is a true hero of this blog, he did a great job. and if he had not done this then ... (time to imagine again) early morning Siddharth waiting for Pritam in B'loreand Pritam waiting for the Departed train... ha ha ha .

Below is the picture of the Train Ticket which helped me make a comeback into this blogging arena after a long time, really long time.

And a special mention of thanks to all those who were a part of discussion about the title for his blog. Yeah Yves, you are included in that too.
